Cristina La Mar (25) grew up on the Mediterranean coast in Catalonia, deeply influenced by the region’s landscapes and the sea, a connection that resonates throughout her music. She began her journey studying jazz and later earned a Master’s in Songwriting at Bath Spa University in England.
After exploring and experimenting with various musical genres, she traveled to Latin America, where her style began to take shape, culminating in the songs that feature in her first Spanish-language album. Recorded in Latin America, this album was crafted with producer Richard Blair, a 2023 Latin Grammy winner who has collaborated with Peter Gabriel and Brian Eno.
Ha grabado su primer disco de estudio en castellano en Latino América, con una formación en bloque, encabezado por el productor Richard Blair ganador del Latin Grammy 2023, quien ha trabajado con Peter Gabriel y Brian Eno en Real World Studios y ha producido discos tan importantes como “La Tierra del Olvido” de Carlos Vives.
