Carolina Cuervo is a Colombian-Spanish actress, writer, creative producer, comedian, and entrepreneur with an acclaimed career. She has participated in numerous television series, films, theater productions, and most recently, stand-up comedy. A Literature graduate from the Universidad de Los Andes, with a Master’s in Creative Writing from the Universidad Nacional, Carolina is also a graduate of the Universidad Central’s Writer’s Workshop and the Comprehensive Leadership Program PIL19 by Fundación Origen in Colombia. She is a columnist, playwright, and screenwriter. As the CEO and founder of Boonet.co, a Colombian digital content platform, she drives the audiovisual industry in Latin America. Carolina is the writer, protagonist, and showrunner of “Cochina Envidia,” the first Amazon Original series from Colombia for Prime Video, based on her play “Veneno.” Released in October 2022 in over 200 countries, it quickly ranked among the top-viewed Latin American shows.
